What is Outdoor Education?
What do you think you’ll learn from Islandwood?
When you come back and are at home, how will you share your experience with your parents?
Please watch and comment below.
Dear Mr.Magill
Will you come to camp with us? Pease write back.
Jose
I can’t wait till we go to camp!
Yes. I can’t wait.
Dear Mr.Magill,
I have three questions for you …..
1. Why did camp have to be in January?
2. Will it be cold?
3. Why does it have to be 4 days and three
nights?
Sincerely,
Leslie
Hey Leslie. Sorry for the slow reply.
Camp needed to be in January because they had other schools scheduled for the other weeks in January.
It was a little cold at Islandwood, but they had plenty of extra gear we could borrow to keep warm.
It needed to be at least 4 days to give us an opportunity to explore all that Islandwood has to offer.
I hope you had a great time.
Mr. Magill
Dear Mr. Magill,
I had lots of fun at camp and I’m wondering if we get to go to some sort of camp in middle school or high school?
Jonathan
Jonathan
I’m not sure Jonathan. If you’re part of the music program, like band, they take lots of fieldtrips; however, I’m not sure if you go to camp.
